Parks are the heart of a community. This is where our community members gather to relax, meet with others, play and have fun.  Along with public safety, this is one of the basic services a city government must deliver to residents.

We have wonderful parks and we can never lose site of the need to keep them clean and safe for every one of our residents. We will continue to expand programs for seniors, children, families, and others. We will maintain our parks so they are clean and above all safe for all to use.

Working with the different sport leagues, school districts, and others who use these facilities and participate in programs will allow more services and activities. We have many local organizations helping to keep our parks clean. City leadership must prioritize resources to this area with properly staffing of our maintenance department to keep them clean and safe.
